So here is my first entry for this and any contest, accompanied by my long-winded artist comments. This piece was kind of a random thing. I saw the contest, I love Resident Evil, and started painting. Went through a lot of iterations. Possibilities included stuff like the Umbrella logo carved into his back, different backgrounds, different methods, bla bla bla. Originally he was going to be dragging a random corpse, but then I thought about how to make him more terrifying and I decided to make the corpse Alice, to imply that the Executioner is so terrifying and bad-ass that not even the hero can kill him. The orange tinge is supposed to be like rust and decay. Normally, I hate using the color orange, but it works quite while for post-apocalyptic stuff. Now that this is finally done, I can work on my other entry. Gonna try to not go so overboard with that one..

PS. Painting realistic chains sucks.
