Compulsion Request

This is a request I did for This is his OC Compulsion Ressa. His concept is that she uses ribbons on her hoodie to fight.

The guidelines for this request were to take the basic concept and run with it however I wanted. So this is the new design I came up with. The original concept had the jacket with ribbons pinned to it. I decided to have the jacket itself turn into the weapon, so the right sleeve kinda unfurls into a bunch of ribbons. The background was a spontaneous thing. Originally it was just gonna be green, but I decided to make it a tree because a lot of Red Riding Hood stories are set in a forest ( based his character on Red Riding Hood) Sketched and inked on paper before, lineart and colors down with Paint SAI
